PRODUCTS
Product prices include VAT and exclude delivery charges.
We do our very best to ensure that all the items you see on this website are as close to the photographs shown as possible, but as they are not mass-produced and many of them are hand-finished, some slight variations in colour and size may occur from time to time. We hope that you understand this and appreciate the skill and craftsmanship required to make them.
ORDERING
The technical steps required to create an order between you and us are as follows: You place the order for products you have selected and placed in your shopping basket by clicking on the confirm order button and the end of the checkout process. We will send you an order acknowledgment e-mail detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance, nor is it a notification of dispatch. When your order is shipped we will send you a dispatch confirmation e-mail. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
* The product you have ordered is out of stock
* We have been unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
* The identification of a pricing or product description error.
If there are any problems with your order you will be contacted by one of our Customer Services Representatives either by email or by phone.
All orders are subject to availability.
PAYMENTS
Payment must be received and cleared by Malabar Trading before any goods will be dispatched. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
DELIVERY
Our standard delivery charge is £5.95 for goods delivered within the UK.
For deliveries within the UK Malabar Trading endeavor to ensure that you receive your goods within 7 working days of your payment clearing. Most commonly, goods will be delivered within 3 working days of an order being received by us. For deliveries outside the UK, please contact us for estimated delivery times. Please allow 14 days from the date of your order for your goods to be delivered. Delivery charges include VAT. We are only able to deliver goods within the EU. Our delivery charges are subject to change without notice.
CANCELLATIONS
You have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any item or service, apart from items personalised for you, or altered by you. You may cancel your order by sending us a cancellation letter or email at any time up to and including the seventh day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) after the day on which you receive your purchase. If you exercise your statutory rights to cancel you must immediately return the unwanted items as detailed in the returns instructions.
RETURNS
Please notify us within 7 days by telephone or by email of your intention to return the product. Products should be returned to us in their original condition and packaging within 28 days with a completed returns form.
Please ensure that returns are packed and labeled carefully so that they are not lost or damaged in transit. (This does not affect your statutory rights). Please note that replacements for exchange of damaged goods will not be dispatched until the original item has been received at our warehouse. You will be required to send a completed returns form with the goods. Refunds will only be given when we receive the goods accompanied by a completed returns form. Please contact us to obtain a returns form. Malabar Trading will only pay for returns postage in the event that an item you have received is faulty.
Please note that we do not give refunds on:
* Items returned after 28 days.
* Items without a completed returns form.
* Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 7 days.
* Curtains/textiles that have been gathered, cut or altered.
* Gift vouchers.
GENERAL
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to technical error or error in pricing information we have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. If your credit/debit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we shall ensure a refund is issued for the amount of the incorrect price. All prices are subject to change without notice.
