Suzanis

Suzanis were traditionally made by Central Asian brides as part of their dowry, and were presented to the groom on their wedding day. These embroidered and decorative tribal textiles were made in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. We usually have a small selection which can vary in size from small wall hangings to large pieces that can cover a double bed or be hung as a large artwork.

We also carry a selection of suzani cushions in silk and cotton.

We have included images of both suzanis and cushions here but they turnover regularly so do call us to find our what we have in stock.
